Improve Your Ekowarehouse Supplier Profile
We want our Ekowarehouse suppliers to get as many quality buyer enquiries as possible. We regularly review which suppliers are the most successful and we have made a list of suggestions and tips based on what our most successful suppliers do! Follow our advice for the best results and to get more buyer enquiries!
Add More Products
Suppliers with 5 products or more 50% more likely to get messages from buyers. It's plain common statistical sense: the more products you have, the more often you will appear in search results and our data proves it. Add more products to get more messages.
List Tradeshows You Are Attending
Make sure to add all the tradeshows you are planning to attend over the year. Our buyers regularly travel all over the world and they like to meet suppliers they connect with on Ekowarehouse. Using Ekowarehouse is the most efficient way to arrange your tradeshow meetings online.
Improve Your Product Titles
The naming of your product is very important: make it clear, descriptive and easy to understand. A good product title means better SEO results because Google and other search engines use your product title as a guideline for search results. Here is a good product title example: Bulk Organic Spanish Almonds. Here is a poor product title example: almond supply 500g. The latter example does not say it is organic, does not use a word to explain product quantity or sizing (bulk) and does not describe the product type (Spanish). Make it easy for buyers to recognize your product. When you are buying almonds, you want to know where they are from because this is very relevant and you want to know if it's retail packaging or bulk.
List Different Product Sizing Separately
If a buyer is looking for bulk almonds, they won't click on your product if your photo shows a small single use pack of almonds. List bulk products separately from retail-ready packaged goods and make sure to have a seprate product listings for all different packaging sizes with different photos.
Have Better Product Descriptions
Don't keep buyers guessing! Make sure to add packaging information (dimensions, details), a proper description about your product and an ingredient list if your product requires it. Include dietary specifications (dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free for example) and information about how to use the product if necessary. In other words, SELL your product. The more helpful your product profile is, the more likely a buyer will message you because you have what they are looking for.
Add Product MOQs
Adding an MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) to your product profile is very important. Buyers regularly tell us that they won't message a supplier without product MOQs because they don't want to waste their time. Once you have built a relationship with a buyer, you can change your MOQs but make sure to include a number on every product as a guideline. This will also ensure that buyers don't waste your time by messaging you for orders that you can't/don't want to fulfill.
Answer Your Messages Quickly
Of all the suggestions on this list, this is by far the most important. The number one way to increase your buyer enquires is to ANSWER YOUR MESSAGES! How quickly you respond to your buyer messags affects your responsiveness score. Suppliers with low responsiveness scores get fewer messages and have lower rankings in search display results. Please make sure you have added team@ekowarehouse.com to your Safe Contacts list so you are sure to receive our email notifications.
Upgrade Your Best Products To Top Spot
Pick your best products and upgrade them to Top Spot so they rank higher in buyer Search Results. Go To your "My Products" dashboard to choose the products you want to feature.
