Founder & CEO
Sonalie Figueiras is the founder and editor-in-chief of Green Queen, Hong Kong's largest eco wellness media platform, advocating for social & environmental change using original, inspiring Asia-centric content and the founder and CEO of Ekowarehouse, the global sourcing platform for certified organic products, with a mission to make organic farming accessible & affordable for the whole planet. With over a decade of experience in publishing, SEO, digital marketing, organic trade and health journalism, she is an eco wellness industry veteran with a keen eye for market trends and a regular on the speaking circuit includind 2 x TEDx and Harvard Business School, sharing her expertise on stages across Asia and beyond. Sonalie also recently launched a podcast series about the Zero Waste Movement in Hong Kong to raise awareness about plastic pollution and the circular economy.
Luc des Vallières
Head of Growth & Operations
French born Luc des Vallières is now based in Hong Kong SAR, where he is Head of Growth & Operations for Ekowarehouse globally. He has over 10 years of experience in sales, project management, key account management, negotiation, market research and financial analysis and most recently built the Small Tanker Desk as B.R.S. Shipbrokers Partner in Geneva. A former French Naval Officer ((Marine Nationale Frigate FS Nivôse), Luc holds a dual master degrees (Cum Laude) from Paris Dauphine University in International Business & Finance '11, and Economics '08. He is extremely passionate about environmental causes, and has been a nature lover since childhood, dedicating himself to wildlife conservation and sustainable agriculture causes. On the weekend, you will find Luc camping on one of Hong Kong's many beaches with his wife and three kids.
Vikas Kumar
Head Developer
Vikas Kumar has been a full stack PHP developer for the past seven years, his main areas of expertise are developing PHP and MySQL based products for CakePHP and Wordpress frameworks. Vikas also has extensive experience with HTML/CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, Ajax and Apache. Vikas has worked on Ekowarehouse since the company's launch. He has a BS (Computer Science) from NIIT University, India (2009). He is the founder of The Code Developer where he blogs about programming. In his spare time, Vikas runs a Student Welfare & Development program in his native village of Ransura, Uttar Pradesh.
Joannes Noel
Senior Lead Developer
Joannes Noel is a self-taught full-stack web developer who began coding as a child. His career started in Desktop Applications programmer. Joannes has 10 years+ experience in PHP/MySQL with a focus on CakePHP and Laravel frameworks. Joannes is also an expert with NodeJS/MongoDB, Redis, HTML5 & WebSockets and is a System Administrator for both Windows & Linux servers. Joannes has worked on Ekowarehouse since the company's launch. Joannes has a BS (Information Technology) from the University of San Jose - Recoletos, Philippines (2010). In his spare time, Joannes is an accomplished scuba diver and enjoys motorbiking and playing music.
